This newer model used Petrof grand piano is in very good condition including the soundboard, tuning pins, action, and soundboard ribs. While most Petrof pianos are known for having heavy or sluggish actions, this one is very responsive – better than many new Yamaha grand pianos we have tried.
This 194 cm (6’4″) model features a solid spruce soundboard that has been tapered, 12 spherical ribs, a wet sand cast plate, multiplex beech pinblock, and a beech and birch inner and outer rim.
For a clearer tone, it has front and rear duplexes.
Antonin Petrof began building European pianos in 1864, producing grands, uprights, and harmoniums. This model is available at a fraction of the price of a new Petrof piano or the lower quality Eastern European pianos like Estonia piano.
